Using Photographs To Make Really Nice Gifts

Photography is not only a great hobby, but a fantastic way to make a living (as long as you’re good at it). However, the majority of amateur photographers don’t realise just how useful their photos could be when it comes to looking for gifts. If you have lots of photos of your friends or family, you can turn those photos into highly personalised gifts that will show how much time, thought and effort you’ve put into the gift. There are several different ways you can use your photos to make nice gifts, so here’s a few ideas:

One of the simplest things you could do is find a nice photo relevant to the person you’re shopping for, get it blown up and professionally framed. Alternatively, you could take the photo to a specialist printer and get it placed onto a canvas, which would make a very tasteful present.

If you’re after smaller stocking fillers for Xmas, you can always go for small photos placed into frames, keyrings, etc. These make great gifts for younger people, who don’t have the room to hang big pictures.

Alternatively, you could go for a more technologically based gift. Digital photo frames not only look great but make fantastic gifts, and you can take the time to pre-upload photographs relevant to the person you’re giving it too. This shows a far great amount of thought, time and effort has gone into the gift, as opposed to a simple present which has been bought and wrapped.

You could also buy a gift that is designed to have photographs integrated into it. A good example of this is the photo frame clock, which is available from most good online retailers. As you can probably imagine, it’s a wall clock, but it’s designed to have photographs placed around the clock.

Hopefully you’ll have a few ideas for your own photography based gifts, they can make excellent option whether you’re looking for stocking fillers or 18th Birthday gifts.
