NFL Lines – Vince Young Falls Apart Again as Tennessee Titans Lose

The Titans lost on Sunday vs pro football prospects as the Redskins defeated them in ot but the bigger story encircled quarterback Vince Young.

The Titans quarterback did not perform well, was booed off the field, hurt his thumb and then chucked his shoulder pads into the stands.  Head coach Jeff Fisher has viewed enough and declared that Young will no more be the starting qb so try to remember that when you take a look at football gambling probabilities on Tennessee this week at the internet sportsbook.

Young’s Injury – Vince Young tore the flexor tendon in his right thumb although that isn’t his throwing hand.  The trainers tried to tape it up but Fisher was not secure letting Young to get back into the competition. Fisher said that Young never stated that he was all set to get back into the competition.  Young might require surgery on his thumb and if that is the case he’s out of the game for the year anyway but regardless, he will not be the starting quarterback for Tennessee whether or not he can come back.

Not the First Occasion – This is not the first time that Young has lost his cool and reacted negatively. It could be the most recent time he does it with the Titans though.  Fisher was pretty disappointed in Young’s behavior and has truly viewed enough.  There is no doubting Young’s physical talent but he basically doesn’t have the mental fortitude to play qb in football.

Tennessee on the Ropes – The Titans have dropped to 5-5 on the season and in the AFC that is a major problem. Tennessee is now a squad that you really must wonder about versus football wagering odds. They were down to 3rd string quarterback Rusty Smith following Young got injured as Kerry Collins was out with an injury.  If Collins has the ability to return then maybe the Titans can turn things around. It will not be easy however when they go to Houston this week and they still have 2 games remaining vs the Colts.  It will nearly be an elimination game this week in Football probabilities when Tennessee visits a Houston squad that is in shock following losing this week to the Jets.
