NFL Gambling – Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills

Football wagering fortunes continue to plummet for the Buffalo bills since regardless of who’s at qb, they’re among the worst teams in NFL wagering. Football wagering prospects for the Jaguars could be changing, nevertheless, after their enjoyable 31-28 NFL betting upset over the Colts.

The Bills will host the Jaguars on Sunday with a 1:05 PM eastern kickoff and a telecast by CBS.  The NFL sportsbook started out with a pick’em line and an over/under of 41.

The Jaguars stole one from the Indianapolis Colts this past week when Josh Scobee kicked a 59 yard field goal at the last minute to win the game.  With the victory the Jaguars improved their overall record to 2-2 both straight up and with the NFL prospects, and now 3 of their four matches have gone over the total.

The victory vs Indianapolis was vital as the Jacksonville Jaguars were arriving off consecutive horrible losses and head coach Jack Del Rio and qb David Garrard were feeling extreme heat.  There is still much to be done by Jacksonville as they rank 25th for total offense and 30th for total defense.

Running back Maurice Jones Drew has been extraordinary with 322 yards to help keep the heat off the troubled Garrard, who has an 80.7 Qb rating and a 6/5 touchdown/interception proportion.

The Buffalo bills are arriving off a 38-14 debacle against the New York Jets as quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had no more capacity to move the offense than the not too long ago waived Trent Edwards.  Head coach Chan Gailey goes on to have difficulty at jumpstarting the team.

Gailey was signed earlier this year, becoming the fifth head coach for the team in only a decade. His employment as a coach began in the NCAA with Troy State University and Air Force Academy more than thirty years ago. He got into the NFL when the Denver broncos signed him as a defensive assistant and special teams coach in 1984. The Denver Broncos made three Super Bowl appearances during his six year tenure there. He went back to the NCAA circuit in 1991 where he again regularly took his squad to the playoffs. Since that time he’s gone backwards and forwards between the NFL and the NCAA, either as a coach or a defensive coordinator, and is now taking the place of Perry Fewell as head coach.

In better news, Fitzpatrick has outperformed Edwards and has an 88 Qb rating but the Bills’ difficulties have proven to go far beyond the quarterback position.  Buffalo ranks an dismal 28th for scoring and at the bottom of the charts for points permitted and has to be regarded as the worst team in the NFL. Buffalo currently has a record of 0-4 straight up and 1-3 with the NFL sports gambling odds.

There’s little doubt which Buffalo team will show up for this matchup as it’ll be a poor one.  The huge question for handicappers is which version of the Jaguars they will get for Sunday.

An AFC South Division win over the defending conference champions is extraordinary but the Jags have displayed no NFL betting reliability thus far and must show that they can handle a bad team and avoid a feasible disappointment.
