NCAA Football Bet – Florida Gators Look to Crush Tennessee

Florida finally started to get things going last week in a victory over South Florida whilst Tennessee fell apart against Oregon. The Florida Gators are 14-point favorites at the sports book when betting football. This is the SEC match that CBS decided to go with for Saturday. Whether it turns out to be competitive is in question.

Hard to Favor Tennessee – It is really tough to favor Tennessee this week. In fact, it might be hard to like Tennessee in any game this year. They are just not high quality. In the second half last week it got ugly when Oregon ran up and down the field on them. Florida might manage to do the same thing. Derek Dooley is in his 1st year as Tennessee’s head coach and he has a lot of work to do. The Volunteers are a pretty young squad and they are in over their head this year. Unless Florida totally lays an egg they ought to win easily since the Vols gave up 447 total yards to Oregon last week. The sole thing that could give Tennessee a chance when you make an online bet is that the Volunteers are 7-3 ATS in their past 10 conference matches.

Florida 4-1 at Tennessee Since 1998 – The Gators have had lots of results at Tennessee, winning 4 of the last 5 meetings. Florida has a few other good trends in their favor also. The Gators are 11-3 versus the college football betting lines in their last 14 road games and they’re 14-6 ATS in their last 20 matches on grass. Florida is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings at Tennessee. The single downside is that they are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 conference matches.

Total numbers – Five of the last six Florida road games have gone under the total and eight of the last 10 Florida conference competitions have gone under. The last 4 Tennessee matches total have gone over and five of their last 6 home games have gone over. Four of the last five have gone under in this series. With Florida’s defense it might not be a negative college football wager to take this game under the total.
