The world of fun and strange Awards
We all like to win a prize, but sometimes you want to be careful what you wish for because you might just get it. Winning a prize is always fun and it's nice to be recognized. Maybe you won employee of the month on the job or perhaps her civic work caused his community to recognize a outstanding citizen award. But not all is a prize you want to put on his cloak and show your friends and family. There is a company in upstate New York that has a bowling tournament every year. The first place is a beautiful gold bowling pin for the winner to proudly display. Last prize, and there is a final award is an old bowling shoe referred to as the Award smelly shoes. A smelly old shoe bowling is not what you want to sit on the mantle at home. Of course, it's all for fun, but some awards and recognitions can be a bit critical and sometimes downright mean.
Mr. Blackwell was a renowned fashion critic who published two lists of all the years that were very expected. The first was the best dressed celebrity list and do it on the list meant a new level of recognition by the media and potential opportunities in the world of entertainment. The other Top Ten list was the worst-dressed celebrities, and it was a list that usually means that you would find a fairly unattractive yourself in a national tabloid magazine. So what of Mr. Blackwell's worst dressed celebrities is definitely not an award you want to win. But that pales in comparison to As the Movie industry has to offer.
Few industries have as many awards as the film industry. Among the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and People's Awards Choice hundreds of winners of the awards every year in Hollywood and is not count things like the Kids Choice Awards or the MTV Movie Awards Movie well. But as good as Hollywood can be patted on the back there's always Hollywood foreigners who are willing to let Hollywood know that not every movie is a winner. The desire to maintain its place in Hollywood has led to some fun trophies and awards and top prizes in Hollywood are amusing of all is the Razzies.
The Razzies stands for the Golden Raspberry Award and is awarded each year to the worst actors and worst Hollywood Films set for the previous year. The trophy is a large golden raspberry and, needless to say, very few Hollywood celebrities present at the ceremony each year to collect his award. In recent years Hollywood has been repeatedly accused of movies are not worth going out and that has led to increased media exposure and the Razzies ceremony to accompany each year. Many films Oscar-winning Razzies are awarded and looks like the Razzies will be around for a very long time.
