How do I solve a problem chemicals Spa?
I recently purchased a spa with the purchase of our new house last month. Two days ago I accidentally put too much alkaline chemical sensitizers and now high pH and alkalinity reading is very high. I guess the actual readings are on the ladder! I stupidly put the "start up" dose instead of the routine dose to Top, so I put about 5 times too. I have the pump / filter on each day for two days, and the water is foaming up. Yesterday and today I added the normal dose of decreasing pH chemicals. I also bromine tablets. What do I do next? Is that the problem will after a few days? Should I continue to pump every day? Should I still add the same amount of decrease in pH chemical or perhaps more? We had Company Service Spa in The Spa, and they have advised us to find a store nearby spa – problem is that I have not found far. Suggestions? I guess after a few days, it will be resolved, but I wanted to check.
Contact your local company spa pool and tell them what happened. they may have a chemical that act against your high pH
