The athletic shoe is a very common shoe among both men and women, worn often on down time, sporting events, and workouts. They are made of pliable leather or canvas, with rubber soles. Proper construction of an athletic shoe provides support and protection for your feet, and can be worn with denim, shorts, and athletic apparel. A common mistake is to wear them with dress pants, or even a suit.
The best plan is to have a well kept pair of each handy, and to know when, and when not to wear them. Keep them clean, and keep them ready, because you never know when you might need them.
