Is it bad to exercise every day? (Please read details inside)?

I have 16 years of age, training at Lifetime Fitness. I've been very interested in working in recent months, and is bad to go every day of training. (No weight lifting) just cardio? As the elliptical machine or jogging on the treadmill!? How long should I exercise on the elliptical or jogging on the treadmill if I go almost every day!? I've been doing at least 1 hour, but sometimes two different teams and sometimes more than an hour. I'm trying to get in shape. When I get into the shape and weight than I want to be I cut my workouts a lot. I've been making sure I have been eating enough and getting enough of the right foods and I've been exercising both! Answers would be helpful, thanks!

Cardio every day will give excellent strength and serve you well later in the life. The only suggestion I would do is make at least a minimum circuit of resistance training three days a week. The legs, abdomen, lower back, and upper must be in good shape to support your posture and mobility for life. The other thing is a good diet with adequate amounts of protein.
