What is an ideal camera for student film-low budget?
I have curiosity as a film student, so the camcorders are great, not only good for filming movies and I will give students a high quality of filming.
I am a film student. My second year university I had the same question as you. I had the opportunity to save money and my brother buy a Panasonic DVX100A. We got it on eBay for $ 2300 used w / accessories. The reason that is ideal for film students is that it gives the option of shooting in 24 FPS. If you know anything about film then you know why this is important. And 24p is real, not fake mimic the style as some other cameras. You can get surprising results if you learn how to use the camera and the teacher can light and shadow.
