Four vampire movies you've probably never heard of
"Martin"
This early film by "Night of the Living Dead "director George A. Romero has the Movie and vampire novel cliches and spins them in the head as a result of psychological problems murderers and a young man who thinks he is a vampire. The film never moves forward or not Martin is or is not a vampire 85 years of age or if it's just a confused and timid child 20, which adds to the power and excitement of this unique tradition of vampires. Martin is not a "sexy" vampire with powers or hot cars spoilers , which is just a normal guy.
"Ultraviolet"
This strange mixture sci-fi and vampirism failed at the box office, but worth it just to see great visual effects, fight scenes and beautiful Milla Jovovich. In the year 2078 after of a global pandemic that enables the infection, such as vampires, but also kills them in 12 years, Violet is hired to steal a weapon to be used to kill all those infected in the world. The plot is a bit silly, but fun twist on the old world vampire in a future setting is fun.
"The Last Man on Earth "
This classic 1964 science fiction film remains powerful today thanks to a wonderful performance Vincent Price and darkness, loneliness, against all odds, "the mood of the film. Dr. Robert Morgan is the last man on earth, struggling to survive against a world decimated and flooded with infected humans became vampires. It's a slow film, but the viewer is rewarded some scenes a great and strong, frequently cited climax.
"The Hunger"
Any Horror film that has David Bowie vampire playing a vampire with a style is worth seeing in my book. This 1983 film has won a cult following in recent years thanks to its changing environment, dark and glamorous, and his band sound. Of course, now that the vampire genre is at a record high thanks to "Twilight," Warner Bros. remake of The Movie plans 2010. See original first.
